For the preparation of tissue in the corners of the approximal cavity, the bevelled instrument part (lobe knife) can be used. The delicate periosteal elevator at the other end can be used to reach underneath the periosteum. The Glickmann periostal elevator is used mainly for preparing for PA treatments.
