Sealmax+ (Root Canal Sealer with MTA)

Sealmax+ is a MTA based Bioceramic root canal sealing material supplied in the form of powder and resin. The powder and resin are mixed to produce a root canal sealing material of excellent sealing capacity and tissue compatibility. As a result of its close adaptation to the walls and hydrophobic nature, Sealmax + allows tight sealing of the root canal during obturation.

Packing:
3 g powder, 5ml liquid, and dispensing scoop (8011/001)
2 g powder, 4ml liquid and dispensing scoop (8011/002)

Intended Use:
- Sealing of root canals during obturation in the secondary dentition with or without the aid of obturation points (gutta-percha).

Indications:
- Permanent obturation of root canal of teeth with obturation point.

Properties & Advantages:
· Filled with Bio-ceramics (MTA): Contains more than 20% of bio-
  ceramic material.
· No moisture required for setting: Activators in powders makes resin
  set.
· Calcium hydroxide release on surface when encounters moisture:
  Bio-ceramic fillers on surface when exposed to moisture releases
  ions and this raises pH of exposed surface, this also helps in
  inhibiting bacterial growth.
· Favours bone formation: Ion release enhances bone formation.
· Eugenol free: No long term post operative pain reported till date.
