Shellac Base Plates

Shellac base plate contains shellac which is a natural resin having low fusing properties and fillers for brittleness making it ideal for the fabrication of trial denture base during the making of Acrylic / Flexible dentures.

Type:
It comes in different formulations for different climatic conditions (LMP / HMP / Tropical / Al. Filled).

Colour:
Brown /Yellow/ Pink / Aluminum.

Thickness:
Upper / Lower Base Plate: 1.3mm, 1.7mm. 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm (+/- 0.15mm)

Packing:
Each Packet of ‘MAARC’ Base Plate contains 8 upper and 4 lower plates, 12 Pcs, 50 Pcs, and 100 Pcs.

Intended Use:
- Fabrication of trial denture base and custom impression tray during prosthetic rehabilitation in edentulous patients.

Properties & Advantages:
· Low-fusing natural resin. Dimensionally stable at working room temperature.
· They are ready to use maxillary & mandibular plates – 8 upper & 4 lower.
· Optimum heat resistance to minimize overheating of the plate.
· Easily adaptable to heating and easy to work with.
· Retain the shape stability and do not warp back on cooling.
· Optimum mechanical strength to resist breaking during try-in denture.
· Does not adhere to plaster.
