· Linear Expansion (Max): 0.08%
· Wet Compressive Strength: 400 kg/cm2
· Dry Compressive Strength: 800 kg/cm2
Dental Stone (Type 3 Green, Yellow & Off White)
Dental stone or type III gypsum for fabrication of dental models/base. High density, low expansion Type III dental stone designed for the fabrication of Dental model/base of the dental model.
Type III - Specification:
· Water/Powder: 30ml/100gm.
· Mixing Time: 60 seconds.
· Working Time: 6 minutes dry.
· Setting Time: 8 to 12 minutes.
· Hard Set (Initial): 30 minutes.
· Setting Expansion (Max): 0.08%
· Wet Compressive Strength: 250 kg/cm2
· Dry Compressive Strength: 500 kg/cm2
Plaster of Paris (Type 2 Dental Grade)
Dental plaster or type II gypsum, provides the optimal strength for diagnostic dental models.
Fabrication of diagnostic dental models, mounting of articulators, flasking of trial dentures.
Type II - Specification:
· Water/Powder: 58-60ml / 100gm.
· Mixing Time: 15 seconds wet.
· Working Time: 3 minutes dry.
· Setting Time: 5 to 6 minutes.
· Hard Set (Initial): 30 minutes.
· Setting Expansion (Max): 0.10%
· Wet Compressive Strength: 150 kg/cm2
· Dry Compressive Strength: 300 kg/cm2
· Pre Mix Temperature: Pop and Water 25oC.
