Step 07 is the CHECK. Once the biofilm and discoloration are removed completely and the surfaces are perfectly clean, the subsequent caries diagnosis can be carried out. Any hidden caries are now highly visible. Polishers, brushes, and polishing paste can be disregarded altogether. Fluoridation is now applied for protection.
