The Italian Dental Industries Association – gathers most of the Italian manufacturers of equipment
and consumables for dentists and dental technicians, more than 130 companies providing all the guarantees to the users of their products, by complying with the safety and performance require-ments laid out by the EU legislation. In 50 years of activity, UNIDI has actively contributed to the growth of the Italian dental industry. Today the association is one of the world leaders, regarding
business volumes, technological innovation and exports.
UNIDI promotes Made in Italy through two important events: Expodental Meeting in Rimini, the most relevant international trade-show for the dental sector in Italy; and IDEA – International Dental Exhibition Africa, the only international exhibition for dental professionals in all African Countries.
Moreover, UNIDI sustains Italian companies export strategies, by organizing Italian pavilions, crea-
ting business matches, and drafting an important internationalization plan in cooperation with ICE
– the Italian Trade Agency – in both emerging and industrialized Countries.
