xSNAP®

xSNAP is an innovative 3D joint system for jaw models that enables the precise simulation of physiological mandibular movements such as protrusion, mediotrusion and laterotrusion. By integrating the ball-and-socket joint directly into the 3D-printed models of the upper and lower jaw, natural jaw movements can be realistically simulated.

An outstanding feature of the xSNAP system is the ability to open the models by 180°, making them ideal for use as working models without having to separate the jaws.

The xSNAP system is available in three different versions to meet different requirements:

xSNAP LITE:
This version is designed for quadrant models and is ideal for simple cases such as finishing a single crown on the quadrant model and quickly checking the occlusion. With this single joint, the protrusion and laterotrusion of the mandibular model can be easily simulated.

xSNAP + TDM:
The standard version for full-jaw models has three guide tracks and offers a choice of joint path inclinations to reproduce different clinical situations.

xSNAP 360:
This fully customisable variant was developed to meet the highest demands. The cloud-based software can be fed with data from jaw registration systems such as the zebris JMAnalyser+ (Schütz Dental) or MODJAW to design a double joint with patient-specific parameters. Both the data import and the design are fully automated. In addition, xSNAP is now also integrated into the BiteFinder software, which uses AI to find the correct bite positions based on the abrasion surfaces of the teeth and automatically generates the jaw movements.
