DeltaFil – the amalgam alternative designed specifically for geriatric and paediatric dentistry

DeltaFil is THE strong solution when it has to be simple. A conventional, self-adhesive glass ionomer cement with an innovative material concept. The innovative filling material impresses with its high mechanical stability, based on patented micelle technology. The innovative GIC also scores points with its adapted, practical colour range. DeltaFil’s properties make it particularly well suited to patients who demonstrate limited cooperativeness, which is often the case in the dental treatment of children, senior citizens and people with disabilities. 

Easy handling, minimal treatment steps
The use of the self-adhesive glass ionomer cement requires only a few treatment steps; complete drying is not necessary. DeltaFil promotes remineralisation thanks to fluoride release and has excellent biocompatibility. The Handmix variant is especially suitable for atraumatic restorative treatment (ART).

Precise application with newly developed capsule tongs
DMG's newly developed application tongs for the DeltaFil capsule variant guarantee precision and ease of use. The inverted design enables effortless and convenient application thanks to improved power transmission. Ergonomically optimised, the application tongs made of durable high-performance plastic are comfortable to hold.

New capsule design: timelessly aesthetic and highly functional
The newly designed DeltaFil capsule consists of a transparent bio-modified plastic that provides information about the quality of the product at all times. Be it checking the integrity of the powder, monitoring the mixing result or providing information on the amount of material still available during application. The optimised capsule outlet ensures pleasant application by minimising contact pressure.

The optimised capsule version of DeltaFil is expected to be available from Q3/2025. Our team is on hand at DMG Stand G20/H29 in Hall 10.1 to provide further product details.
