S5 – the high-endurance top performer for wet and dry processing of blocks and discs in the laboratory.

The S5 is a highly automated 5-axis milling and grinding machine from vhf’s PERFORMANCE CLASS. Thanks to the eight-fold blank changer as well as a 16-fold tool magazine, it delivers high performance without interruption around the clock. And it is versatile: The S5 is prepared for the connection to a wet grinding module. For this purpose, liquid nozzles are already installed to the spindle to cool the tool during milling or grinding. This enables processing of all materials up to CoCr, titanium and glass-ceramics, as well as blanks in 98-mm format, roundabout 40 types of blocks and more than 800 titanium and CoCr prefab abutments.

The repetition accuracy of 3 µm ensures first-class results every time. The integrated and intelligent directmill Technology, in which milling already starts after the calculation of the first milling paths from the CAM in parallel, saves valuable time.

The innovative QuickFrame magnetic holder allows blanks to be clamped quickly and without tools – it couldn’t be easier. And not only during, but also after work, the S5 offers perfect support: 3 ionizers neutralize the static charge of acrylic particles and ensure a clean workspace and thus fast and convenient cleaning of the machine.
