Taking the letters from “SQ,” the signature implant product of DENTIS, and “UV Activator,” the UV surface activation device, the brand was named SQUVA.


SLA surface treatment has become the most used implant surface due to its high long-term clinical stability. Recently, implant treatment has become more common as health insurance started to cover it, and several studies have been conducted to further increase the success rate of implants. Over time, the implant surface becomes more hydrophobic. However, when UV rays are irradiated on the implant surface, organic substances, such as hydrocarbons are removed, and the surface becomes superhydrophilic. As a result of such research, the demand for implants treated with UV rays is increasing.

DICAON 4D is a software specialized in setup of clear aligners, released in 2018 through research and development by the DENTIS Institute of Clear Aligner Orthodontics (DICAO) and Diorco Co., Ltd., a software developer and subsidiary specialized in calibration. DICAON 4D is a professional software that has been elaborately designed to easily train users and enhance their setup skills to derive accurate results. This is achieved by incorporating the latest digital and communication technologies. In addition, the systematic training program of DICAO has drastically lowered the entry barriers to clear aligners for dental practices. It has also reduced the burdens of initial cost and clinical know-how for complex techniques, such as setup and engineering. The regular programs and systematic curriculum of DICAON 4D Setup School for Clear Aligner Orthodontics have been actively operated, maximizing the satisfaction of clinical service at dental practices and expanding the use of clear aligners.

With the FDA approval of DICAON 4D, it has landed in the US market, the first stage of globalization of South Korea’s advanced clear aligner setup software, after two years of verification. Based on localized training programs and marketing strategies for each region by DENTIS headquarters and DENTIS US Corporation supported by the global service platform of DICAO, education-setup-production services will be provided. Based on DICAON 4D, DENTIS is building an independent system through the development of diagnostic planning software. This is the core technology of the total clear aligner orthodontics platform, and technology internalization for the manufacturing process in collaboration with TNS, a digital dentistry company and subsidiary of DENTIS. DENTIS plans to unveil its new brand of K-clear aligner orthodontics in 2021 after fully developing the core technology and manufacturing process for clear aligner orthodontics and completing quality verification.

The portable dust collector from DENTIS overcomes the disadvantages of existing dust collectors, such as loud noise and taking up too much space, while it showed powerful dust suction power. In addition, a PM 2.5 filter loaded in the collector can filter even fine dust, demonstrating even greater suction power. It is offered as a sliding type with replaceable filters and is easy to care for. An infrared detection sensor is used, which operates automatically when the hand is placed in a specific area. It reduces unnecessary touch commands and the need for separate pedal to prevent cross infection. With its light and compact design, the dust collector is a wireless type with no spatial restriction, meaning it can be installed and used freely in dental offices, dental labs, and small group meetings. The collector also comes with an attachable/detachable flex pipe, which is a magnet type that can be attached only when needed, allowing more efficient use of space.
