Medical Instinct®’s BoneTrust® mini implant system is a unique implantology concept for interim restoration. In collaboration with the Schloss Schellenstein private dental clinic in Olsberg, a two-piece design was developed, which enables restoration with prosthetic components with the aid of a screw connection. There are various screw designs available for different bone qualities. The pure titanium grade 4 implants are available in 2.3- and 2.5- millimeter diameters and in three lengths. The system offers a new and unique range of prosthetic options thanks to its design and the large number of superstructures available. Just one drill and a few instruments located in the normal BoneTrust® implant tray provided by the manufacturer are required to use the system. Medical Instinct® has developed a standalone BoneTrust® mmi tray as a “missing link” for users of other systems, which straightaway emphasizes the uniqueness of the system. Measuring just three centimeters in diameter, it still provides space for all instruments and superstructures. The small dimensions make it highly suitable for use as a side tray next to the usual surgical cassette.
