K5+ – The milling machine for dry machining of discs

With the vhf top seller among the 5-axis milling machines, a particularly wide range of materials and indications can be machined with blanks up to a thickness of 40 mm - even the hardest materials on the market, including CoCr. At the same time, the K5+ has a repetition accuracy of a great 3 μm. This ensures that the restorations produced always fit perfectly.

Operating the machine is convenient and easy: Revolutionary technologies such as the DIRECTDISC Technology for one-handed and tool-free blank clamping and the automatic changer for 16 tools allow jobs to be started quickly. The DIRECTMILL Technology, in which milling begins in parallel after the first milling paths have been calculated by CAM, saves valuable time thanks to this intelligent mode of operation.

The Administrated Tool Board for milling tools is also part of the innovative concept: its numbered slots are managed via the DENTALCAM software, resulting in an active tool pool of 30 in total. The integrated ionizer, which largely neutralizes the static charge of plastic chips such as those of PMMA, helps to significantly reduce the amount of cleaning required after the work is done.
