With its newest software release, Amann Girrbach optimizes the entire Ceramill software family and strengthens the connection between laboratories and practices. From now on, both parties will be working with one and the same CAD software, which can be adapted precisely to individual requirements. The special feature: Intraoral scan data can be easily integrated or retrieved.

Individually configurable and expandable at any time
A central element of the upgrade is the redesigned Ceramill software, which can be adapted by the users themselves to suit individual requirements and capabilities. Via the Ceramill Software Manager, the software can be configured according to user knowledge and the range of applications and can be expanded at any time. In future, users will be able to choose between a simplified, automated “Easy Workflow” and a “Detailed Workflow” with manual design options. In this way, both new, inexperienced users and CAD/CAM specialists will find their way around the system.

An extensive range of CAD modules in Ceramill Mind, such as for the design of implant work or splints, expands the product portfolio and can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements or working methods.

Automated transfer of IOS scan data
Another highlight is the new “Ceramill Connection Guide”. Embedded in the Ceramill Software Manager, this tool enables the automated transfer of scan data from the world's most popular intraoral scanner solutions to the Ceramill software. Time-consuming manual processes are now a thing of the past, the workflow is significantly simplified, and potential sources of error are reduced.
