Electronic data exchange between dental practice and dental laboratory

Dental laboratories can also connect to the telematics infrastructure to exchange data digitally with the dental practice in the future.

In the Z1.Pro lab order, the new function eLAB-Z enables the digital transmission of a cost inquiry or a lab order to the laboratory.

KIM (Communication in Healthcare) is used for transmission. The KIM address of the laboratory can also be found in the VZD if the laboratory is connected to the telematics infrastructure.

Responses sent by the laboratory will be directly assigned to the corresponding lab order.

To quickly locate the sent and received documents from the lab, the Z1.PRO e-document management system will be expanded with eLabor. Through this, cost inquiries, lab orders, order changes, and responses can be found for all or a specific practitioner. Additionally, the list can be filtered down to a specific status, such as "sent."
