The ultra-fine diffusion layer transforms the zirconium oxide surface into a functional glass-ceramic. What looks like a glass-ceramic is subsequently treated in exactly the same way. For adhesive cementation of zirconium oxide, there are no changes in the working procedure, the long-term proven luting protocols for glass ceramics have proven to be excellent.
