The E3 opens up orthodontic applications. It puts an end to a lot of unnecessary manual work when cutting out thermoformed splints, whether they are aligners, bite splints, grinding splints or other variants up to sports mouthguards.
As with all three machines in the vhf EASE CLASS, the development of the E3 was guided by the motto EASE – so the handling of the machine is very quick and easy. The trimcam software, which was specially developed for the E3, automatically recognizes the trimline on which the occlusal appliance will later be milled out from the available planning data. The splint itself is simply clipped into the practical holding device of the E3. This takes no more than a second.
An aligner, for example, is milled out in about 45 seconds, enabling to create an entire series in the shortest possible time – and this with the high CNC production quality of the E3. There is practically no more rework for the user. At vhf, EASE also means: easy handling thanks to low weight, full flexibility during set-up thanks to the absence of compressed air, and no need for external extraction thanks to a practical collection drawer for chips.
