DAOS – DEVENTIV AUTOMATIC ORAL SCANNER

DAOS or DEVENTIV AUTOMATIC ORAL SCANNER is a new generation intraoral scanner. It is a breakthrough solution in dental treatment, especially in prosthetic and implantology. This innovative device is a completely new approach in dental diagnostics and can successfully replace manual scanners as well as analogue techniques of taking an impression. DAOS consists only of a mobile scanner and a disposable mouthpiece. The scanner automatically acquires images of the oral cavity. The 3D model of the oral cavity is calculated by a microcomputer based on the collected images, and then it is sent to the dentist’s computer, tablet or phone. It can also be sent to a prosthetic laboratory or to a cloud database.
