Stern S220TR

The S220TR unit features 5 different models to match a broad range of operating styles. With a floor-mounted unit body, the S220TR is solid thanks to high quality construction materials. Upgrading is an easy option as it can implement most of the integrated systems derived from high-end treatment centres. In addition to a wide range of exclusive accessories that enhance patient and dentist comfort, the S220TR includes an advanced, user-friendly hygiene system to counter the risk of contamination. Numerous latest-generation imaging and X-ray devices are also available. A new micromotor with UV LED light for conservative dentistry provides a further high-added-value option.

Interactive LED Pack - makes dental unit design more appealing and provides user-friendly info on the status of the integrated functions via LEDs. There are several warnings/indicators: their colour provides a range of useful information, from scaler mode to hygiene cycle progress on the dental unit. During root canal treatment with the apex locator on, the LED ring changes colour according to the distance from the apex. The control panel can be used to personalise the colour of the LED ring; the latter shows that the dental unit is on and, if a timer is activated, will gradually go out as the time runs down before flashing briefly when it expires.

FLUO micromotors (i-XS4 and i-XR3L) - now available with FIT technology to detect composite materials. They allow faster, more precise removal of old composite in teeth that need to be retreated. With orthodontic or aesthetic treatments, bracket removal is simple, safe and effective.

New design for certified BIOSTER intensive disinfection system – featuring unit body design to allow insertion of instruments in integrated holders. This reduces the time needed to start the selected cycle and eliminates the need for other accessories.
