R5 – Milling and grinding machine for wet and dry machining of discs

The vhf R5 is the highly automated 5-axis milling and grinding machine with tenfold disc changer for wet and dry machining. It combines highest precision with maximum stability on a small footprint, and mills and grinds the hardest materials on the market, including all titanium and CoCr grades. And it does so with a repetition accuracy of an incredible 3 μm. This ensures that restorations always fit perfectly.

The 16-position tool magazine, the material changer for up to 10 discs or up to 60 blocks or abutments, and the DIRECTCLEAN Technology with ionizer, self-cleaning and dryer enable non-stop production of the different jobs in any order without the need for user intervention – even overnight. The intelligent system is completed by the DIRECTDISC Technology for fast, tool-free clamping of blanks and the DIRECTMILL Technology, in which milling begins in parallel as soon as the first milling paths have been calculated by the CAM. This intelligent method of operation saves you valuable time.
