Pro-Matrix® single-use matrix bands

Pro-Matrix® is a ready-to-use single-use matrix band for posterior amalgam and composite restorations. The system, which can be used immediately, shortens the treatment time because it saves the laborious assembly of the band and holder. In addition, the single-use product promotes efficient practice hygiene because it reduces the risk of infection and does not require any time-consuming reprocessing. The matrix can be placed quickly and easily. The rotating mechanism integrated in the matrix holder tightens the loop around the tooth and ensures an exact fit. The flexible stainless steel band is individually adjusted using a slider, so a perfect transition between tooth and filling is guaranteed even with complex anatomy. Wedges and rubber dams can also be used without any problems. The universal matrix band facilitates the formation of perfect contact points and is suitable for all MO/OD/MOD cavities and cusp build-ups. The plastic matrix holder has a particularly narrow neck, which improves access and allows a good view of the treatment area. The rounded design ensures a high level of patient comfort, and the time saved compared to conventional procedures also makes the treatment more comfortable. The versatile system is available as a standard Pro-Matrix® matrix band and as a pre-contoured Pro-Matrix® Curve model. Both versions come in packs of 50 with 4.5mm band for children and premolars and 6mm band for molars.
