American Eagle XP ProThin™ | Exhibitor on the IDS - International Dental Show 2023

American Eagle XP ProThin™

ProThin™ periodontal instruments from American Eagle Instruments® have been developed for special challenges in periodontal treatments. They are especially recommended for deep pockets and narrow interproximal areas. The precise and fine design of the working ends and the ergonomic handles enable the practitioner to provide safe and gentle periodontal therapy.
The instrument tips are even finer than standard instruments with XP Technology®. Narrow spaces, overlaps or even deep pockets of the anterior teeth can be treated particularly gently with these instruments.
ProThin™ instruments are available in almost all common instrument designs: as universal scaler M23 and Black Jack for the interproximal/posterior area; as universal curette Barnhart 5-6 and as Gracey Access instrument set with Gracey Access 1-2, 7-8, 13 -14 and 15-16. The M23 scaler in ProThin™ design allows optimal access to the supragingival and interproximal areas of all teeth, up to the contact points. It can also simplify preparations for preventive and periodontal treatments. The Black Jack ProThin™ scaler is a good choice to better remove mineralised deposits above the gingiva, as the popular instrument is even thinner thanks to ProThin™. The Barnhart 5-6 universal curette is particularly popular in periodontal therapy. This instrument, in contrast to conventional curettes, can work deep pockets with gingivitis and subgingival deposits very effectively due to its narrow design and thus offers a much higher level of comfort. Together with the universal scaler, you thus have two instruments with which you can clean all tooth surfaces. For the removal of calculus and bacterial biofilm in pockets deeper than 4 mm, the Gracey Access ProThin™ curettes are used. This can be used to facilitate access to concave root portions and anterior roots.
